As a part of the ‘Maison et Objet’ fair, the famous Japanese lighting design team, Teamlab, has fascinated the attendees of the fair with an important workshop realized by specially designed Murano glasses and qualified lighting equipments. Teamlab, famous with creativity and interactive works, has displayed a terrific visual show in their work by lighting thousands of Murano glasses. Thanks to the special automation system, the light sources inside the glasses could be controlled individually. Thus, the lighting fixtures are illuminated in desired colors, at the same time it revealed a magnificent scenario display.
Within the fair, team aimed an interactive work to materialize the concept of eternal through the use of lamps, glasses, lights, and mirrors. In this sense, Teamlab has always planned to underline the idea of the interactiveness of the piece will always depend on people — meaning that randomness and infinity are always present. The attendees of fair, situated in the performed area, started to journey of light while standing next to a lamp, and with the help of mirrors they suddenly found themselves as a piece of the chain. A splendid design was revealed with the falling image on the mirrors of the luminaires used in the background and the reflections of the images from other mirrors. The various lighting scenes scattered throughout the time frame changed the acoustics of the environment. Thus, attendees of fair partially get away from the crowd.
The work that the team puts out is not just fixed with it. You can also view other activities of the Teamlab team apart from fairs from the company site.
